Our Mission & Vision

I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as your Chapter President for the upcoming year. As we embark on this journey together, I am filled with immense optimism for the future of our chapter and the impact we can collectively make on the healthcare landscape in New Jersey.

Our chapter has a strong tradition of providing high-quality educational resources, fostering professional development, and creating meaningful connections among healthcare leaders. This year, I want to build on that solid foundation with a renewed focus on two key goals: Growth and Connections.

Growth in Our Membership, Growth in Our Impact

Our strength lies in our diverse and talented members. To amplify our influence and enrich our community, a primary goal for this year is to strategically grow our membership. We will be launching new initiatives to reach emerging leaders and seasoned executives alike, ensuring that ACHE-NJ is the premier professional home for all healthcare administrators in our state. A growing membership means a wider range of expertise, more vibrant discussions, and a stronger collective voice to shape the future of healthcare.

Deeper Connections, Stronger Collaboration

In a world that has become increasingly virtual, the power of genuine connection cannot be overstated. This year, we will be dedicated to creating more opportunities for you to connect with your peers in meaningful ways. We will be expanding our networking events, both in-person and virtual, to foster a greater sense of community and collaboration. We are also exploring the launch of a formal mentorship program to facilitate knowledge sharing between our experienced fellows and our rising stars. We want every member to feel a true sense of belonging and to know that they have a network of colleagues to rely on for support and inspiration.

Your Role in Our Success

These goals are not mine alone; they belong to all of us. Your engagement and participation are the lifeblood of our chapter. I encourage you to get involved in our various committees, attend our upcoming educational and networking events, and share your ideas for how we can better serve you and our profession. Your unique perspectives and contributions are invaluable as we strive to make ACHE-NJ an indispensable resource for healthcare leaders across New Jersey.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to another exciting season with the American College of Healthcare Executives of New Jersey (ACHE-NJ). As your Regent, I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a talented community of healthcare leaders who are committed to advancing our profession and improving healthcare across New Jersey.

I am especially pleased to welcome our Regent Advisory Council: Daniel Demetrops (Medix Staffing Solutions), Mary Egan, PhD (Atlantic Health System), Aakanksha Deoli (Rutgers University), Nalin Johri, PhD (Seton Hall University), Harshal Shah, FACHE (Hackensack Meridian Health), and our Student Representative, Sheno John. Each brings a unique perspective and a shared commitment to strengthening professional development, engagement, and leadership within our chapter. Please join me in welcoming and thanking them for their service.

We are also excited about the summer launch of our new ACHE-NJ website, which will make it easier to stay connected with chapter programs, events, and resources. ACHE National has also introduced a new website; as part of the transition, members will need to reset their ACHE password to access the new site and continue using national member resources. This fall, we are launching a new seven-week, fully virtual FACHE Prep Course, beginning October 7, designed to provide focused preparation, expert guidance, curated resources, and peer connection for those pursuing Fellowship.

One of the privileges of serving as Regent is recognizing the exceptional leaders within our ACHE-NJ community. Regent Award nominations are now open, and I encourage you to nominate a colleague whose leadership, service, and contributions deserve recognition. This year, nominations include Student Associate, Early Careerist, Mid-Careerist, Senior Careerist, and Healthcare Partner and Collaborator categories. I hope you will take a moment to recognize someone who has made a meaningful difference in our profession and our community.

Our chapter continues to offer outstanding opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. Thank you to our chapter leaders, speakers, volunteers, and members who have made our recent programs successful. I look forward to continuing that momentum this fall, including several opportunities to come together (please check our website for registration information):

• September 9 — Wishes Come True Golf Outing at Crystal Springs Golf Course, with networking and our Sip & Swing program.
• October 15 — ACHE-NJ Fall Congress, in partnership with Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
• December 2 — ACHE-NJ Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick — a special evening to celebrate our accomplishments, recognize our members, and connect with healthcare leaders from across New Jersey.

As we move into the fall, I encourage you to stay engaged, take advantage of the many opportunities ACHE-NJ offers, and continue building relationships with colleagues across our healthcare community. ACHE is more than a professional organization; it is a community of leaders supporting one another and working together to advance healthcare.
