About the ACHE-NJ Awards
Each year, ACHE-NJ recognizes exceptional healthcare leaders through a distinguished awards program. Our chapter honors individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement, innovation, and dedication to advancing healthcare management in New Jersey. Regent Awards are presented in five categories, and additional Chapter Awards recognize volunteer service and organizational partnerships. Recipients are honored at the ACHE-NJ Annual Meeting each December.

2025 Award Recipients

Kenneth N. Sable, MD, MBA, FACEP is president of the Acute Care Hospital Division for Hackensack Meridian Health, responsible for all of HMH's acute care and children's hospitals.
Dr. Sable has oversight of Hackensack University Medical Center (a Level One Adult Trauma Center and Level Two Pediatric Trauma Center — Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital) in Hackensack; Jersey Shore University Medical Center (a Level One Adult and Level One Pediatric Trauma Center — K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital) in Neptune; JFK University Medical Center in Edison; Ocean University Medical Center in Brick; Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen; Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy; Old Bridge Medical Center in Old Bridge; Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank; Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin; and Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. He also oversees HMH's interest in its joint ventures with Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair and Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood.
Previously, Dr. Sable was president of HMH's Southern Market for the past 6 years with responsibility for five HMH hospitals and the network-wide service lines including cardiovascular, neuroscience, orthopedics, oncology, children's health, women's health, and behavioral health.
Dr. Sable originally joined HMH as president of Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital in 2014. Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Sable was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Brunswick, New Jersey, responsible for the coordination and oversight of operations for the entire health care system from 2012 through 2014.
From 2002 through 2012, Dr. Sable was vice chairman for Operations in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Sable holds a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), and a graduate of Maimonides Medical Center's Physician Leadership and Development Program. He has also received the Medical Service Award from Bikur Cholim, and the Joshua Huddy Distinguished Citizen Award from the Monmouth Council of the Boy Scouts.
Dr. Sable is the Assistant Dean for Integration at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. He is on the policy board of the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA). He is also a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey.

Jack serves as Program Manager for the Rutgers Vice Chancellor for Population Health and Deputy Chief Population Health Officer at RWJBarnabas Health. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of education, research, and clinical initiatives aimed at improving health across New Jersey. Jack co-founded and leads the Rutgers Health Service Corps, an initiative that provides students with hands-on volunteer opportunities, internships, and practicums in public health and health administration.
Jack is passionate about building innovative, student-driven population health programs. His initiatives include a patient navigation program that connects emergency department patients to cancer screening education and appointments — funded by the New Jersey Health Foundation; a colon cancer screening FIT Kit program providing home screening kits to low-income patients at a local Federally Qualified Health Center; and a Narcan distribution initiative that has delivered over 11,000 kits across Rutgers campuses to promote community safety. The FIT Kit and Narcan projects were both presented at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting. Most recently, Jack received an Allstate Foundation grant to launch a Community Health Incubator Program and a Rutgers Democracy Lab grant to engage students in health policy and advocacy training.
He holds a Master's degree in Health Administration, serves on the ACHE–New Jersey Chapter Membership Committee, and is Vice Chair of the Rutgers MHA Alumni Association. Jack remains deeply committed to supporting students and early careerists by creating opportunities for growth and advancement.

Leilani serves as the Director of the Children's Health Service Line at RWJBH. She exemplifies healthcare leadership through nearly two decades of operational excellence, program innovation, and talent development.
She oversees complex service lines and drives measurable improvements in patient care, team performance, and community outreach. Her career spans leadership roles in pediatrics, cardiology, and oncology; as a member of ACHE, she finds the time to serve as a mentor, very much contributing to the professional growth of emerging leaders.
Her nomination reads, "Leilani's collaborative approach, strategic vision, and dedication to advancing healthcare access and quality embody the values of ACHE-NJ and the spirit of the Mid-Careerist Healthcare Leader Award."

Tim Hogan serves as the EVP for Network Service Lines at Hackensack Meridian Health and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ.
His impact on health and healthcare delivery in New Jersey has been profound over the last 25 years. He had a hand with the establishment of Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH), in developing system and hospital-level partnerships, including with Memorial Sloan Kettering, and in guiding innovative service lines for improved patient access across the state.
At Riverview, where he has led the leadership team for more than two decades, he is credited with significant transformation and growth, such as creating a team-oriented culture, exceeding clinical care and patient experience metrics, and bringing organizational performance to best in class. In addition, Tim has successfully brought to campus state-of-the-art facilities such as the current donor-funded ED Expansion and the new In-patient Oncology Unit.
Beyond leading his organization to meet performance excellence goals, Tim has contributed to the community's quality of life in several ways. Riverview and HMH have committed to the successful implementation of the Community Health Needs Assessment improvement plan, including addressing food insecurity for patients being discharged. He has served on the boards of Monmouth County Chamber of Commerce, Parker Family Health Center, Monmouth/Middlesex County YMCA, Monmouth/Middlesex Scouting America, Count Basie Theater Foundation, and the New Jersey Symphony.
He is a lifelong learner and takes pride in sharing the value of ACHE with his teams, as evidenced by hosting the HMH Dinner at Congress every year! He has been instrumental in developing the prestigious HMH post-grad Administrative Fellowship Program and has developed several administrative and physician leadership academies to enhance individual career advancement opportunities and support the organization's succession planning goals.

Kevin Skeete is the general manager for New Jersey and New York for LAZ Health CARE, a parking business developer and collaborator who considers his clients and his organization "Partners in Parking™ and Caring."
With over 20 years of experience, Kevin expects his services to be considered as an extension of excellent clinical care and calls his staff "front-line caregivers." He notes that the work of the valet parking attendant is the first and last impression for patients and their families and has a lasting impact on the patient's experience of care.
To assure success in aligning mission and values, Kevin prides himself on promoting employee engagement by leading by example and offering professional development opportunities. He enjoys unsettling emerging leaders by asking, "Where do you see yourself," and then by offering them what he terms "a GPS for career development."
Kevin and LAZ Health have recognized the value of ACHENJ in the development of healthcare leaders. He enjoys collaborating with the Wishes Come True golf outing and other chapter events, much contributing to the chapter's community service goals. In addition, he collaborates with the Chapter by leveraging his network to get additional leaders involved in our cause.

Justin Deonarine is an MPH candidate at Rutgers University's School of Public Health, concentrating in Population Aging. He is dedicated to advancing health equity and improving healthcare delivery through operational excellence and system-wide performance improvement.
As a Patient Experience Specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, Justin leads initiatives across departments, enhancing patient satisfaction and strengthening organizational efficiency through process improvement and project management.
Justin was selected to participate in the ACHE 2025 Congress in Houston, Texas, as a Program Assistant. Closer to home, he serves on the ACHE–New Jersey Membership Committee, where he recently became Co-Leader of the Recruitment and Retention Subcommittee, engaging new members and fostering a culture of connection and professional growth. One colleague wrote, "My experience with Justin began through a simple LinkedIn message, but it was immediately clear that he possessed a rare combination of authenticity, professionalism, and passion for healthcare leadership. Justin is the reason I became an ACHE member."

Jessica Latonnelle is a dynamic and dedicated student currently pursuing an Executive Master of Health Administration program from Florida Atlantic University. She has a proven track record of leadership, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence through diverse roles in cardiology, clinical research, assisted living, and home care.
Community service is deeply personal to Jessica. She has served as a City Hall Youth Ambassador in Newark and was actively involved with New Jersey Peace Action, and in Florida with the Boca Raton and Delray Democratic Club, where she advocated for youth justice, education, and peace-related initiatives through local organizing and public speaking. With a deep commitment to advancing healthcare delivery, administrative excellence, and equitable access to care, she hopes to continue serving the community through leadership in health administration.

Shaelynn finds immense joy in the thrill of amusement rides. After taking a virtual tour of Disneyworld, she's dreamed of experiencing it in person. Her wish is to visit Disneyworld with her family, where she can enjoy the rides she loves, meet her favorite characters, and create unforgettable memories. This experience would be a celebration of her resilience and a moment of pure joy in her journey.

Eliam is a huge soccer fan, and his wish is to go to a soccer game, be inside the stadium, and if possible, "be on the field." Eliam's family would love to grant him his wish. We are glad that we can help in making this possible.
