Over 250 healthcare leaders gathered at the Nassau Inn in Princeton on September 22, 2025, for what turned out to be ACHE-NJ's largest and most impactful Fall Congress to date. The day-long conference brought together executives from health systems, hospitals, consulting firms, and academic medical centers across New Jersey.
Keynote Highlights
The morning keynote, delivered by Dr. Sarah Chen, Chief Digital Officer at a leading Northeast health system, explored the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare operations. Her presentation, "From Hype to Impact: AI That Actually Works," showcased real-world implementations that have reduced emergency department wait times by 23% and improved clinical documentation efficiency by 40%.
The afternoon featured a panel discussion on health equity, moderated by ACHE-NJ Board President Michael Torres, FACHE. Panelists from RWJBarnabas Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, and AtlantiCare shared strategies for addressing social determinants of health and reducing disparities across their patient populations.
Breakout Sessions
Eight breakout sessions covered topics ranging from value-based care strategies and workforce retention to cybersecurity best practices and behavioral health integration. Each session was facilitated by subject matter experts and offered interactive Q&A opportunities.
The most popular sessions included "Building Resilient Healthcare Teams in the Post-Pandemic Era" and "Navigating the New CMS Payment Models." Both sessions drew standing-room-only crowds and generated dynamic discussions that continued into the evening networking reception.
Looking Ahead to 2026
ACHE-NJ is already planning an even more ambitious Fall Congress for 2026, scheduled for September 22 in Princeton. Early registration will open in the spring. Members who attended the 2025 Congress will receive priority access and an early-bird discount.
We extend our gratitude to our sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and every attendee who made this year's Congress a resounding success. Together, we're advancing healthcare leadership across the Garden State.
