Wishes Come True is the primary community service project of ACHENJ. Each year, wishes are granted to chronically ill children whose lives are significantly impacted by their illnesses. Created in 1991, the program represents an important expansion of the normal activities of the professional association.
It provides healthcare executives an opportunity to extend themselves and demonstrate what they believe healthcare is all about — caring. The 2022 Wishes were funded through fundraising events and generous donations from chapter members and sponsors.
Since its inception, Wishes Come True has become a cornerstone of ACHE-NJ's mission to give back to the community. The program not only brings joy and hope to children facing significant health challenges, but it also serves as a powerful reminder to healthcare leaders of the human impact of their work.
